Creating an employee-orientated workplace
Ivana Kosijer, expert for Category Management, Global RE and Facility Management at Nexi Croatia, held many discussions with board members, managers, team members and team leaders during the project phases for the move in order to obtain suggestions and create an employee-orientated workspace.
Compared to the previous office space, there are numerous improvements. As an open office an open door policy has been introduced and the number of meeting rooms increased to improve collaboration between colleagues. Thanks to Sedus se:cubes, employees can still be undisturbed during their meetings. In addition, concentration and relaxation rooms have been set up and employees can now bring their pets into the office!
Nexi receives the most praise for the large conference room with adjustable tables that are easy to move. Employees are also pleased with the new workstations with the self-adjusting se:flex office swivel chairs and the height-adjustable se:lab e-desk workstations. Due to the shared desk and shared space policy, grand slam locker cabinets have also been installed for employees’ personal belongings.
Positive collaboration with Sedus and local dealer
“All in all, we are very satisfied with the furniture from Sedus. We are also very happy with Plan 2B as our local supplier, because we always get help from them whenever we need anything,” says Ivana Kosijer.
For Branimir Valičević, consultant for working environments at local Sedus dealer Plan 2B Interijeri, the collaboration with Nexi was also consistently positive. His challenge was to collate the feedback from employees that Nexi had collected and bring all this information together in the layout. He took the opportunity to make the offices feel more like home and more cosy. Every employee can now find a place where they feel comfortable and want to work.
For many companies, bringing employees back to the office is a major challenge. Nexi has created appealing and cosy offices that people come back to because they want to, not because they have to.
