Open-plan concept for more communication
Sedus and its specialised trade partner, RM Büro & Objekteinrichtungen in Landsham, supported the planning of this project for over two years. To convert the storage area, the ceiling between the 1st and 2nd floors was opened up to create an atrium. The conversion of the warehouse was challenging at times in terms of fire protection and raising the roof truss. In addition to the complete interior fit-out, a sophisticated lighting and flooring system was also developed.
The open space and room concept proposed by Sedus was implemented 1:1 in the project and now enables even better communication between the purchasing, IT, design, export and sales departments, which have found their new workplace here.
Sedus furniture creates a cosy atmosphere
There are 94 workstations in the offices, equipped with se:flex swivel chairs and height-adjustable desks - the temptation c from Sedus. Additional mobile pedestals and grand slam units provide plenty of storage space.
Cosy lounge areas were created in the intermediate zones with se:works, sopha and se:lounge furniture. The meeting areas with flexible room partitions were equipped with se:joy conference chairs and the se:cube serves as a place of retreat in the open-plan concept. As a full-service provider, Sedus has also furnished the kitchen areas with se:spot stool bar high chairs, among other things. The use of light Nordic tones has created a cosy ambience.
