What is Sedustainable?
“Sedustainable” is a portmanteau word that combines the terms “Sedus” and “sustainable”. It stands for the philosophy and commitment of Sedus to assume social, ecological and economic responsibility in all areas of business. Sedus therefore bases its commitment to sustainability on three central pillars:

It has received numerous awards, including EMAS III certification as the first office furniture manufacturer worldwide. Other initiatives include CO₂ reduction and compensation as well as sustainable procurement. Transparent communication and high standards are key elements of the ecological strategy.
Economic responsibility
Sedus pursues a long-term, sustainable economic strategy based on forward-looking action and continuous improvement. The company invests anti-cyclically and integrates all employees into the improvement process. Sedus emphasises the importance of sustainability through careful supplier selection and compliance with sustainability guidelines. The smart thinking approach also promotes innovative thinking.
