The boundaries between the traditional workplace and the city are breaking down like never before, transforming the way we work. No longer limited to the office or home, work now takes place in a wide range of environments known as “third spaces”.
“The office must now compete with third spaces,” explains Ernst Holzapfel, Head of Marketing at Sedus Stoll AG. “Therefore, companies need to make the office an even more attractive place of work. Encouraging people to return to the office, nurturing meaningful social interactions and spontaneous communication are the main aims of modern work cafés.”
The new se:café team table from Sedus forms the centrepiece of a Work Café – designed to promote both socialising and productivity within the office. Its striking, intuitive design and role at the heart of the office encourages people to interact.
se:café team table: A place for socialising and after work
The new se:café team table offers a central meeting point for everyone at work. With a large surface spanning up to 4800 mm, the table strengthens a sense of belonging and is the natural choice for impromptu meetings. Up to fourteen people can work at the table during the day, collaborating and sharing achievements then unwind with an after-work drink or dinner in the evening.
The natural feel of the elegant veneer finish emphasises the high-quality design of the table. Adaptable and flexible accessory options such as lights, planters and shelves can be attached using an integrated joint. The table also offers discreet electrical and data servicing with connections that are integrated into the table’s frame, allowing them to be positioned individually.
